Cartier Tank Française watch
With strong military foundations, Tank family’s first prototype was created by Louis Cartier in 1917 and presented to General Pershing of the American army during World War I. Both cutting edge and timeless, the Cartier Tank Française Ladies’ Watch heralds a new era in the Tank family wristwatch design. This small model is cased in stainless steel with a stunning rose gold and steel bracelet. Square, bold lines of the lacquered silvered flinqué dial are set with 11 brilliant-cut diamonds, bringing a fresh-faced and dynamic personality to the Tank legacy. The curved base aids comfort on the wrist for hours of wear. Sword-shaped blued-steel hands are guided around the dial to the watch’s signature single Roman numeral at the 12 o’clock mark. The octagonal crown is set with a contrasting blue cabochon-shaped spinel. Water resistant to 30 metres.
